Applications

 

N,N-Dicyclohexylmethylamine is a tertiary amine. Tertiary amines, especially N-methyldilkylamines, are of great economic importance as important intermediates in chemical industry. They are used as vulcanization promoters in the rubber industry and as polymerization and curing catalysts in the production of epoxy – and polyurethane-based plastic moulds. They are also suitable for use as corrosion inhibitors and as raw materials for detergents and flocculants.
